AJ HALO

It all began for AJ Halo in the early 90s in Cape Town South Africa, with his first job as DJ in the most popular wine-bar in the city. His mixing style and cross-over of commercial sound gave mainstream a whole new meaning and influenced other clubs and bars to an extent that his sets where copied everywhere. Soon he was booked in most top commercial bars around town and slipped on occasion into a few clubs.

In 1998 moving to London he discovered his love for vinyl. His 5-10hr sets where across the board mixing Classic funk, Soul, Jazz, Deep House, Bangin house to electro.

Again across the bar scene in the West-End his sets were copied. Until 2001 he promoted underground and Boat parties on the Thames for „NotForTheNarrowMinded“ productions where he concentrated more on the Electro direction.

Half way through 2002 AJ moved to Munich and after a few years finally broke into the Club scene. Where today he is one of the respected Djs that has stood behind the decks of most major clubs in Munich.

AJ HALO conciously does not allow himself to be confined to any Style, which makes him differant from other Djs in that his Talent lies in mixing Tech-house ,Techno, Electro and Progressive House in one set. Without being commercial and then again out of the underground. Not just a Dj but a pure entertainer where he parties as much behind the decks as his public on the dancefloor, to his progressive, driving and melodic dance music.

AJ HALO shoots every dancer into the universe and pulls them softly back to earth. It is fun to watch play- and even more so to dance to his sound. Wherever AJ plays- the dancefloor goes off.
He Loves electronic music like his own life and one feels it.
